Seeking Truth of Spirituality
The God/Gods/Goddesses represents an aspect of the ultimate creative force behind all which exists. Humankind personifies each creating idealism that people can better relate to and feel a sense of security. Introspection of the creating force and its entirety is beyond comprehension due to the abstraction as there is nothing it can be compared to. Their existence cannot be proven just as the myriad of other subject matter such as what truly lies on the bottom of the deep ocean floor, miraculous medical recoveries which should have been imminent death, and intercommunication with those from the other side.
Deep, concentrated thoughts over an extended amount of time are prevailing influences which have tremendous energy to create or destroy. This is particularly accurate when discussing realistic thought patterns that is influenced by intense emotions. Present day rituals, ceremonies, and worship replenish and awaken energies that can influence either negatively or positively. These concentrated thoughts are found within oneself, as Carl Jung believed this was the subconscious mind. Once the subconscious has awakened it will explore into a “universal memory pool” or the “collective unconsciousness” as hypothesized by Carl Jung promoting self-growth.
**In Jungian psychology the part of the unconscious mind is derived from ancestral memory and experience that is common to all humankind, as distinct from the individual’s unconscious.
Reflective Ideas
This week try and meditate for 5 minutes a day and jot down your findings.
1. Did you notice your thoughts to be action or emotional driven?
2. Could you slow your internal chatter where there was nothing at all?
3. Was it overwhelming or frustrating when trying to start this? Why so?
